Fair

We are making signs for the school fair. We have to make  them bright and make sure the spelling is correct.  Our stall is the Sandpit Treasure Hunt.

Expressing Ourselves

We have been Expressing Ourselves through our art work. We made pictures of some feelings and thoughts that we sometimes have.

Building

We built a ship, it was massive and cool.  Our group worked co-operatively together to make it. It was awesome. We had a good idea for it.

I hear glass breaking
I smell fire in my room.
I touch glass on my feet, it cuts my feet
I taste sweat
I feel sad.
My home is going to be demolished because it has cracks in it.
This is  my house.

Maths

We have been learning about symmetry, we know if we fold something on top of something else and it fits evenly that it is symmetrical.

Learning Celebration We Are the World.

We had our Learning Celebration about the perfect world.  Here are some of the models we made.  We liked parents and caregivers coming in to see them.

All Blacks

I went and saw the All Blacks at QE2.  It was sensational because there were heaps of people and I got to see the whole team. I got my photo taken.

Turtle Report

Turtles.

Turtles live in the sea and tanks and zoo’s.

They eat meat and fish.

They lay eggs and they swim and walk.

They have a long neck.  There are rainbow and sharp back turtles that have a sharp beak.
