Graphs

We have been learning how to display data. We made some graphs.

Choice and Challenge

Today we made Oaty pancakes in Choice and Challenge.  We made lots of pancakes. Halley helped us make them.

Here is the receipe:

1/4 cup of milk
3/4 cup rolled oats
1 egg
1/2 teaspoon of salt
2 - 3 tablespoons of sugar
1/2 cup of flour
2 teaspoons of baking powder
25g of melted butter.

Pour the milk over the rolled oats.  Add the rest of the ingredients.  Cook , both sides, in a fry pan with a little butter, until they are golden.  We had Maple Syrup with ours.

Expressing Ourselves

We have been Expressing Ourselves through our art work. We made pictures of some feelings and thoughts that we sometimes have.

Colour Poems

We have been expressing ourselves by writing poems about different colours.  We expressed how  colours make us think of smell, taste, looks and hear.

Earthquake

I wake up in the moring
I think that something is different
I taste a sewage taste
I hear something rambling
I touch my feet
I smell a stinky smell
