Fair

We are making signs for the school fair. We have to make  them bright and make sure the spelling is correct.  Our stall is the Sandpit Treasure Hunt.

Poetry

We have been expressing ourselves through writing poetry.  We intended to learn about the structure of poems, starting each sentence with an upper case letter, publishing our work neatly and expressing our own special thoughts and ideas.  We have done this.

Expressing Ourselves

We have been Expressing Ourselves through our art work. We made pictures of some feelings and thoughts that we sometimes have.

Earthquake

Darkness was surroundng me.  Suddenly I was out of bed.  The next day I woke up. I did know it was an earthquake and I was frighened.  My bed was shaking when I was in bed asleep. The next day I sat down.  I went under the table. The next day I woke up, no more earthquakes.

Inquiry Express Yourself

As part of our Fuel Up for Express Yourself we brought something special to school.  We talked about why it was important to us.

Elephants live in the zoo and jungle and they drink water and milk.
