We have been thinking of what we look like when we and others express themselves.  Here are some ideas.

Name Poems

We have been expressing ourselves through writing poetry. We have been writing name poems about ourselves or other people. We had to remember to follow the structure, use adjectives, put upper case letters at the start of the line and make it neat so people could read it.  It also had to make sense. 

Building

We built a ship, it was massive and cool.  Our group worked co-operatively together to make it. It was awesome. We had a good idea for it.

Rhythm Interactive

I liked how we had to play the African drums because they were nice and sounded nice and they felt good in your hands.

Earthquake

At 4.35am there was a 7.1 earthquake on 4th September.  I remember me and Dad were sleeping in Dads bed.  Mum was at work.  Dad just rolled over me and I said "Dad whats happening".  Dad said "Its an earthquake." I said "Oh".  So me and Dad watched as we heard the china stuff fall over.

I thought it was never going to stop.  But it did.  My Dad got up and said "We've got some damage."  So Dad got our battery running torch and radio.  Then there was an aftershock.  Dad quickly got the cell phone.  My two brothers called.  "Are you alright Dad?" they said.  Dad said "We've got no  power and no water."  I said to Dad I hope Mums OK.  We were lucky only a picture frame and a glass broke.

The All Blacks are the Best Team

In my opinion the All Blacks are better than Ireland because Ireland has lost every game. One to the All Blacks 56/28.


I think that the All Blacks are better because they have not lost any, even in the tri nations. The All Blacks have a better National Anthem and better costumes. The All Blacks can take expensive players like Sonny Bill Williams.

Another good point is that the All Blacks take care of their supporters and give out signatures.  I have even seen the whole team.

Some people think that Ireland is good and they are right.

I think they are the best team because I have a duvet of the All Blacks.

Monkey Report

Monkeys by Callum

At one stage monkeys were early human beings. Monkeys live in zoos and other notorious places.

Monkeys like to swing on wooden obstacles and branches. The zoo keepers make it for the monkeys to exercise.

The monkeys look like people but are naked. They have hairy backs and have feet as hands and hands as feet.

Monkeys eat heaps and heaps of fruit but the favorite is bananas. If you are at the zoo monkeys will peel their banana skins and put them on the ground.
