Today when we started to do our handwriting about 1pm, we all "experienced" a 5.5 aftershock. We all got under the desks and waited while our relocatable stopped shaking. We all went out onto the field with everyone else. We all remembered not to yell and upset other people. We are all OK. Our Mums, Dads and extended families came to pick us up from school. When nearly everyone had gone, about 2.20pm we had a bigger aftershock, we all sat down on the cricket pitch.
Here are some photos of what it looks like round our school. It is all rather wet! We are all safe which is the main thing. And guess what? That spelling is going to get marked.
Don't forget to look after one another and have lots of hugs.
Mrs Bourke.. you are such a good photographer, I think you could work for the Press!
