Whats behind the door?

Toby

Campbell
Right now we are making doors.  What's behind the doors?  It is fun making them.  There is something of a movie behind my doors.  Do you know what it might be?  Toby

I have been writing about giants and taniwhai's. They are behind the door. Campbell

We are getting there.

This is it the new /old Room 6

I think they still have a bit of work to do.

Are these for hanging bags on???

What are these cards? They are on the wall in our new classroom that has come all the way from Tarei, near Dunedin.
Today I had a little look in our new classroom. It is so exciting.  I think that it is going to be ready before too long, maybe, just maybe at the end of next week.

Digger digs

A big digger came to school today to move some stuff.

Old classroom

Our old classroom is still being demolished.

Sentences.

Today we had lots of fun writing sentences.  They had to be all correct and the first team to finish writing sentences with no mistakes won.

Cloth of Dreams

We have been making our Cloth of Dreams.

There was once a little person who was going to visit their grandmother ,when this person tripped and ripped their cloth of dreams. It was really dirty and had big holdes in it. All those dreams got torn apart.  Then along came the dream maker who thought it would be a good idea if a new cloth of dreams was made. However, lots of things had been happening in the dream makers life and the dream maker had forgotten the ingredients for the cloth of dreams. So the dream maker decided that she needed some dream maker assitants to help her to remember what the ingredients were.  The dream maker assitants made up lists of ingrediants, these included 1/2 a cup of sunshine, 1 cup of rainbows, 100g of fairy dust, 1 cup of gold, 1 cup of sparkles, 1 cup of trees, 1 cup of sprinkles, 1/2 cup of computers and 2 cups of koru. The dream maker assistants also thought of some words for their cloth of dreams, that included, happy, excited, wonderful, fabulous, terrific, proud, grateful, good, adventerous, glad, amazing, beautiful and terrifc. So the dream maker assistants made their cloth of dreams.

Demolition of our classrooms.

Our classrooms continue to be demolished. I think that they are "open air classrooms"!!!! And the trees have been cut down.

Demolition.

Our classrooms are being demolished.  People are taking them apart, bit by bit.  This is what some of it looks like.  They did not look like this after the earthquake. I went into Room 6 lots of times and felt safe after the earthquake, but they did need to be demolished because they got a bit broken and now we will be getting a great new and fantastic classroom.

Home school

This looks like lots of fun, going to school at home. Thank you Sharon.  You are a star. And thank you Kym and all the other helpers. You are all very caring and motivated Freeville Flyers.
