We Are the World

We are starting a new inquiry unit. It is called We are the World and our big question is How Can I make a Difference.  We want to understand and learn to accept that there are differences between people and ask ourselves "does it matter?" We think that if we can do this then we will have a greater tolerance between ourselves, our community and the world.  We think that we might then be able to solve some big problems such as world hunger, crime, intolerance, racisim and playground disputs. 

We began our study Fuel Up, by thinking about what the things are that we need to survive.  What was important and what was not so important. There were some interesting answers.
