CCC Day

We had our Culture, Civilisation and Country Day today as part of our Fuel up for our Inquiry Learning . Some of us came dressed as people from different countries. We also shared lunch with the Learning Team and parents, that included a lot of food from different countries.  Some of it we had never tried before.  We learnt about writing Roman numerals, what it was like to be in school a long time ago, and what different languages sound and look like when they are written.  We wrote our name in hieroglyphics and saw how it was also written in Japanese.  We think that even though the language sounds different and looks different it all means the same things.  So we are not really all that different.  Just interesting.
