Kiwi Fruit

In my opinoin kiwi fruit is better then kumra becuase kiwi is the word of the kiwi.

I think kiwi fruit is cool  because it has alot of vitamin D.  It also used to be called Chinese gooseberries. It is very healthy for flu colds and coughs and it also can be a drink .

I think that they are good for you because they are made in a nutritious country. Now our New Zealanders can have healthier bodys.

Another good point is that they can get orderd to where ever you want when you want and served on a tray.

Some people think that kumara is better because they can get rosted and boiled. However they are nice and soft .Some people say however they like spuds.

I think that kiwi fruit are nice and good in the winter because they grow fast and are eaten quickly in the spring and summer.

The All Blacks are the Best Team

In my opinion the All Blacks are better than Ireland because Ireland has lost every game. One to the All Blacks 56/28.


I think that the All Blacks are better because they have not lost any, even in the tri nations. The All Blacks have a better National Anthem and better costumes. The All Blacks can take expensive players like Sonny Bill Williams.

Another good point is that the All Blacks take care of their supporters and give out signatures.  I have even seen the whole team.

Some people think that Ireland is good and they are right.

I think they are the best team because I have a duvet of the All Blacks.

Year 3/4 children should have one hours homework each night.

In my opinion Year 3/4 children should not have one hour of homework every night.

I think one hour is too long because you have already done lots of work at school and you will be tired.

Another good point is that you might miss out on dinner.

Some people think that homework is good for you but I think one hour is too long.

I think you should do it for 10 minutes.

Inquiry Express Yourself

As part of our Fuel Up for Express Yourself we brought something special to school.  We talked about why it was important to us.

In my opinion I think ice cream is better than lollies.

Jack and Luke have been learning about We are the World and thinking about what a perfect world is.  It is when you have healthy food, fresh air, good homes to live in, healthy drinks.  If you feel loved you feel happy. Being kept safe and being responsible and helping people work.

Clifford visited our school. Clifford loves reading and so does Dathan.  They are both really good readers because they use reading strategies.

We have been getting ready for our learning celebration. We are the World and we know how to make a difference to the world to make it a better place.

Community Award

Today Keely won a community award for being a very responsible person.  She rang 111 after a car crash, she also cleaned up the glass. We are very proud of her. She got a certicicate and a goody bag.

I went to see the All Blacks at QE2.  They were awesome.  They signed the sheet.  I think they are good at tackling.
