People come together to look at gems.  We made some of our own. Making gems into jewellery is one of the arts. We think we are little gems too.

Visitors from the Museum

I got dressed up in olden day clothes.  It felt like it was a tight dress, the rug was itchy under my neck.  The clothes were treasures because they were old.  A little girl had them about 100 years ago. Nimah

We heard about in the olden days 160 years ago the people had to wear skirts and boys had to wear pants. The girls had to wear something uncomfortable and challenging. I liked the picture of the very big mountain. It was about when people first came here. Caitlyn

Dance by Hannah and Trudi

Hannah and Trudi visited us from Auckland and we did some dance with them.

At the dance Hannah and Trudi were excellent.  I liked the traveling bit because we can do all sorts of traveling.  Caitlyn P
